EWR-HNL: Dirt Cheap?

There is some weird behavior happening from Newark (EWR) to Honolulu (HNL). Fares for next weekend, 5/8 to 5/11 are at $400 even. In fact, looking forward, any trip with a 3 day minimum stay appears to have the same price. While this doesn't include CO's non stop (CO 15/14 - usually sold out long in advance, but try your luck), it does apply to Delta, Northwest, United... That would make for one heck of a mileage run = over 10,000 miles in one shot. And, don't forget the double or triple elite qualification miles being offered!
